Individual methods are powerful in themselves and they can be combined to give more variations and stronger effects. Learning all the methods and how they relate to each other will give you a much fuller understanding of how the body changes with functional methods. You will then be able to mix & match techniques to address a wide range of situations.
Jeffrey Burch received a biology BA in from the University of Oregon in 1975, then Rolfing Certification Rolfer in 1977, and Advanced Certification in 1990. Returning to University of Oregon, he earned a Psychology BA 1993 and a Counseling Masters in 1995; thesis on psychosomatic conditions. He then studied Visceral Manipulation with Jean-Pierre Barral and associates to the Instructor level, but is no longer associated with the Barral Institute. Jeffrey studied Cranial manipulation in several schools.
