Join Ron Murray for this 4-day workshop on the pelvis, taking a detailed journey into the biomechanics of the Pelvis, both inter- and intraosseous, and how these relate to soft tissue structures in the walking cycle. We will explore:
  • The concept of Lemniscate, and how it relates to normal mechanics and treatment principles
  • A detailed look at all five portions of both the long arm and short arm of the sacro-ilial and ilio-sacral joints, and how to hydrate these intraosseous restrictions via embryologic, traumatic, and stress lines of force
  • Hip joint health and ligament/capsule hydration
  • Why treatment of the pelvic floor is crucial to normal walking mechanics and craniosacral breathing
  • The coccy's relation to head and neck problems, and why your "tail" should wag when you walk!
While Ron focuses on a deeper understanding of the details of anatomy, and how principles of treatment can be used across the whole body, you will learn techniques that go along with all of these concepts. As you practice the techniques in your office, you will come to understand the principles at a deeper level and will begin to understand the osteopathic paradigm of assessment and treatment of a human being.

About the Instructor

Ron is a masterful teacher of Osteopathy and a Certified Advanced Rolfer®. He is a former Professor at the College d'Études Osteopathiques and Canadian College of Osteopathy and taught for 13 years in Canada. His courses are highly sought after internationally for his coherent presentation of osteopathic theory and practice for Structural Integrators and other Manual Therapists.

Ron became an Osteopath in Canada in 2003. He has been a massage therapist since 1985, a Rolfer since 1988, and a Licensed Berry Method Instructor since 1989. He has taken what he considers to be the gold from all the training he did, simmered it down to the principles behind what he learned, and passes it along to his students in an easily understood, effective way to view, assess, and treat clients. Ron's special interests are functional applications of embryology to the therapeutic arts and spending time in nature. https://osteoron.com
