Rolf Movement™ Training – Brazil (2026–2027)
International Certification Program

The Brazilian Rolf Movement™ Training is a 225-hour course that will take place over two modules and two online meetings between modules for integration, supervision, and continued faculty contact.

That will be a professional certification program designed for Rolfers® and eligible movement practitioners seeking to deepen their perceptual, relational, and clinical skills within the Rolfing® tradition.

The two 15-day modules are subdivided into three 5-day units. Each 5-day unit will be led by two co-teachers

This contemporary movement curriculum emphasizes embodiment, sensory awareness, tonic function, haptic perception, phoric orientation, peripersonal space, the therapeutic relationship, attunement, and non-formulaic clinical reasoning. Rather than teaching predetermined movement protocols, the program cultivates perceptual intelligence, presence, and the ability to collaborate with the client’s lived experience.

Module 1
(with Lucia Merlino, Pedro Prado, Alfeu Ruggi, and Angela Lobo):  focuses on theoretical foundations, embodied investigation, perceptual organization, and the design and facilitation of group explorations.
Module 2
(with Paula Mattoli, Lael Keen, Yeda Bocalett,o and José Garcia):
emphasizes clinical application, individual movement education, therapeutic dialogue, and the development of a structured 5-Session Rolf Movement™ Series, which may be used following the 10-Series or as a standalone introduction to Rolfing®.

Eligible participants include Certified Rolfers®, Phase II Rolfing® students from any country, graduates of
an IASI-approved SI Training Program, and Certified Rolf Movement™ Practitioners seeking renewal or continuing education.

Primary teaching language is English, with selected portions in Portuguese and translation provided as needed.
A minimum number of participants is required. If this minimum is not reached 6 weeks before the start of the workshop, the workshop may be cancelled.
