Learn ScarWork, transform your ability to help people with their scars. This is a 4-day, hands-on training in ScarWork, a gentle and painless therapy for
scars of all kinds. This powerful modality, developed by Rolfer™️ Sharon Wheeler, reintegrates scar tissue into the fascial web, restoring comfort, mobility, and ease.

What You’ll Learn:
-20+ ScarWork techniques for all kinds of scars: surface to deep
-Enhanced palpation skills to help you know which technique(s) will be effective
-Approaches for numbness, pain, pulling, restricted movement, fluid buildup, and
much more
-Hands-on practice with real clients in supervised student clinics
-How to integrate ScarWork seamlessly into your existing practice

Torrey teaches this work with all learning styles in mind. The class includes reading/lecture, a demo session to view, videos, tactile activities, hands-on exchanges with classmates and supervised practice clinics working on real clients' scars. Torrey keeps a friendly, inquisitive and fun class environment where students feel supported and walk away from the class ready to practice the new modality immediately.

About the Instructor

Torrey Trover has been practicing bodywork in Santa Barbara, California since 2013. After completing her foundational training at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in 2013 and her Advanced Rolfing® certification in 2019, she has continued to expand her skills through extensive study in complementary modalities.

Her training includes:
-Visceral and Neural Manipulation and Manual Articular Approach with the Barral Institute
-Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
-ScarWork with founder Sharon Wheeler

Torrey weaves these approaches together to support each client’s unique needs, creating sessions that restore balance, ease, and resilience in the body. She is especially passionate about sharing ScarWork with other practitioners, so more people can experience the profound benefits of this gentle and effective therapy.
