Advanced Training with Pierpaola Volpones and Paula Mattoli in Brazil
Program Contents:
Body reading and pattern recognition: how the different layers of the body manifest internal organization of the physical structure; understand and recognize movement patterns and related habits that shape and are shaped by physical structure.
Deepening of manual skills: enhancing manual skills through classroom training, session exchanges and an outpatient clinic, including exploration of the deep joint layer of the ligament bed' and the visceral system, both components of the fascial network.
Design and execution of a series of 5 Advanced sessions focused on the client according the principles of Rolfing®: how to meet and understand the needs, possibilities and limitations of the client, in addition to the series of 10 sessions. This advanced training will allow to work more efficiently, effectively and in depth with the 10-session series and become confident in their ability to create additional sessions and series with clients beyond revenue.
About the Instructors
Instructor: Pierpaola Volpones
A member of the Rolf Institute since 1986 and an International and European RolfingRolf Movement® Faculty member, Pierpaola is a certified Rolf Movement® Practitioner (1986), a Rolfer® (1988), a Certified Advanced Rolfer® (1996) and an Advanced Rolfing® Instructor (2021).
Since 2006, Pierpaola has been an International Rolfing and Rolf Movement Instructor, she continues to run her own Rolfing practice. As well as teaching the Basic Rolfing Pierpaola is very active in setting, supporting and teaching the modular Rolfing training Italy.
In her continuing education, Pierpaola participated in Rolfing workshops with Jeff Maitland, Jan Sultan, Michael Salveson, and Peter Schwind. She also participated in visceral manipulation workshops with Jean Pierre Barral, Didier Pratt and Alain Croibier. Her Movement background has been greatly informed by the teachings and workshops of Godard.

Paula is from the area of Semiotics and Arts. Rolfer® since 1995 and teacher at ABR 2005. Along the way, she studied Rolfing® with: Robert Schleip, Lael Keen, Pedro Prado, Monica Caspari, Vivian Jaye, Hubert Godard, Jan Sultan, Jeff Maitland, Tessy Brungardt Sally Klemm. She studied Visceral Manipulation with Liz Gaggini, CranioSacral Therapy the Milne Institute, Matrixworks (group dynamics) with Mukara Meredith and Somatic Experiencing® with Peter Levine.
She is currently deepening her studies in the Psychobiological dimension of Rolfing®, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorders) and psychomotor developmental psychology through Lizbeth Marcher's Bodynamic system. Rolfing® instructor in Phase II and III.
