This Continuing Education class is open to Certified Rolfers and practitioners of Structural Integration who have completed an IASI Recognized SI Program.

Orienting ourselves to the environment and rooting ourselves to the ground helps us use gravity as an ally.
Our ability to orient ourselves in the external environment is possible when the head is appropriately supported and free to move.
The flow of gravity also occurs when the visceral and neural components of the head and neck are well integrated with the rest of the body.
These are the main goals of classical session #7.
We will focus on deepening and refining the techniques we use in addressing the typical territory of the 7th session: neck and head.
Together with neck and head work, we will practice intraoral work to improve the differentiation between visceral and neural space in the head.
Because clients are sometimes uncomfortable with in-mouth work, we will explore alternatives that achieve the goals while respecting people's boundaries and wishes.
To enrich skills for "neck work" as an integrative moment of each of the ten sessions series.
The workshop will include lectures, demonstrations, and practical exchange between students.
About the Instructor
The workshop is taught by Pierpaola Volpones, Certified International Advanced Rolfing® Instructor, Rolf Movement® Instructor, and Life Science Instructor.

Pierpaola Volpones has been a member of the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® since 1986. She first trained as Rolf Movement® practitioner and then became Rolfer® in 1988. She was certified as a Rolfing and Rolf Movement instructor in 2005 and an Advanced Rolfing Instructor in 2021.
