Eric Jacobson is a Certified Rolfer in Watertown

I was initially trained by Dr. Rolf in 1974, and had advanced training with Tessy Brungardt in 2007.  Also trained in cranio-sacral therapy with John Upledger, and mentored extensively in Sutherland cranial osteoopathy with faculty Edgar Miller.  I trained in Gestalt psychotherapy with Erving & Miriam Polster at the Gestalt Training Center - San Diego, had post-graduate seminars with Isadore Fromm, who was a primary student of Fritz Perls, and had a private practice of psychotherapy for twelve years. In 2000 I completed at PhD in Social Anthropology at Harvard University, and in 2014 a MPH in Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard School of Public Health.  In 2009-2014 I conducted and NIH-funded clinical trial of Structural Integration for chronic low back pain,  Links to that and to my other peer-reviewed research on Structural Integration are posted on my website https://ericjacobsonbodywork.com
