As a Certified Advanced Rolfer  with over 20 years experience, I combine structural understanding and anatomical knowledge with an open-minded intuitive approach to help transform the human body.  Since the beginning of my career I have dedicated a great deal of time to advancing my skills with additional training in Visceral Manipulation and Biomechanics.  Visceral Manipulation is based on the principle that all organs have an inherent motion and necessary range of motion; any restriction to an organ results in a misalignment in the skeletal-muscular body. The physiology of each organ is dependent on its range of motion within the visceral cavity. Biomechanics allows one to identify and determine how to correct asymmetries in the body. As we experience large or small injuries in life, our body seeks to adapt by either exaggerating these irregularities or driving individual body parts out of pattern. As a Rolfer  I seek to engage these asymmetries in the body to determine there driving force.

In addition to my private practice, I have been an instructor in the Rolf Institute?s Phase I: Foundations of Rolfing Structural Integration in Boulder. As a Class room teacher I encourage students to build a strong framework of science theory and philosophy of Rolfing and to explore and master these concepts through personal exploration. As a mentor to students in the Rolf training process, I provide one-on-one teaching experience using a comfortable and highly attentive teaching style of learning, whether that's by allowing students to struggle through problems on their own, or by giving students as much or as little feedback on Rolfing techniques, as required.
