Certified Rolfer Certified Rolf Movement Practitioner
Growing up, my passion was playing rugby. I played for more than 10 years, including being an all-conference collegiate athlete. Then I got injured. My injuries propelled me to expand my knowledge about the body beyond what I knew as an athlete. ### ### My studies expanded into the eastern practices of yoga, massage, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism. In College, I had the opportunity to travel with the Religious Studies department to northern India and learn from local teachers in the Himalayas as well as with the Dalai Lama. ### ### My travels continued after graduation to Europe and Central America. I had the unique opportunity to teach Yoga and do bodywork in retreat centers in Costa Rica and Guatemala. I learned about how people from other cultures view the body and the healing process. ### ### Returning from my travels, I was eager to learn more from established institutions like the Rolfing institute, Katy Bowman?s Nutritious Movement, YogaWorks Teacher Training, and the National Holistic Institute. ### ### My sessions are informed from my diverse background of rigorous bodywork training, athletics, spiritual philosophies, and foreign travel. I approach new clients like traveling to a new country with the respect that each individual has their own way of navigating in the world.
